General Information - Wakeboarding The interest in wakeboarding has skyrocketed over the last decade. On any warm summer afternoon, at least one boarder can be found out on Michigan's beautiful fresh water lakes, performing tricks and getting "big air". Dirk Dzierzawski, the wakeboarding representative for the Michigan Water Ski Association, is the owner and operator of Pine Lake Ski School. Dirk's well run ski school is known in the area for superb coaching in skiing and wakeboarding sports. He puts on tournament events at different individual sites and has developed a wakeboard series that has created much excitement within the boarding competitors.
