The Mark Boender Buoy Bash Record Slalom tournament was held on August 31, 2019 at Tivoli Gardens. Skiers from Michigan, Indiana, and Ontario, Canada competed. After a cold 49 F degree start and a 15 minute fog delay, the weather improved to the mid 70s with plentiful sunshine and great skiing conditions.
