Water Ski community mourns loss of Rhonda Van Dyk

Rhonda Van Dyk passed away on November 18, 2020. For more than 25 years, Rhonda was a leader and driving force for Adaptive Water Ski in Michigan and the Midwest, even pioneering the recognition of that discipline as an official USA Water Ski division. She served as Chair of the Board for the USA Adaptive Water Ski and Wake Sports Association and was a team manager for the US Adaptive Water Ski Team, which won several World Championship titles and two USA Water Ski Team of the Year honors during her years as manager. Her commitment and love for the sport meant countless hours as a volunteer to bring competitive water skiing to everyone. Rhonda also contributed to other water ski disciplines as a multi-event Senior Judge/Senior Scorer and former board member for the Michigan Water Ski Association.

Rhonda was inducted into the Michigan Water Ski Hall of Fame in 2019.
